Megger MST220 Audible Socket Tester

The Megger MST220 is a socket tester that can detect potential wiring faults in UK BS1363 13A 3pin power sockets by providing both visual and auditory alerts. The right wiring is shown by three green LED lights that emit a continuous tone. A warble tone and a mix of green, red, and amber LEDs alert the user to the possibility of a wiring issue. More than 17 different wiring fault combinations, such as missing wires and improper or inverted connections, can be detected by the MST220. The MST220 allows users to locate socket issues. Early detection of any incorrect wiring or missing connections from sockets guarantees that all BS7671 requirements are satisfied. If a wiring fault is suspected, the MST220 can also be used during the installation and commissioning of electricity connections to 13A sockets.
