Users can identify 28 distinct socket fault conditions and proper wiring indicators with the Martindale BZ701 Audible Socket Tester with Mains Polarity Check. With the Blue Polarity Touchpad on the front of the device, users of the BZ701 can verify the polarity of the incoming supply. When the supply polarity is proper, a continuous buzzer and flashing green LEDs notify the operator. The buzzer will pulse and the LEDs will flash red if the polarity is off. Even after removing the finger from the touchpad, the alerts would still appear, necessitating more research. The BZ701 has a standby mode should the unit be inactive for ten minutes.
