A-type, ACS, and AC RCDs are among the various RCD types that may be tested with the Socket & See RCD PRO Professional RCD Tester. For A- and AC-type RCDs, it features a 30mA auto test that performs x½, x1, and x5 tests at 0˚ and 180˚. In addition, manual RCD testing can be done using a ramp test and a configurable test current (30, 100, 300, or 500 mA) and full rotation from 0 to 180 degrees. The tester has an accuracy of ±(1% + 1ms) and a trip duration range of 5ms to 1999ms. The Socket & See RCD PRO offers several useful functions. When the test conditions are met, the "volts present" LED will turn green, indicating that the test can proceed. The tester will identify the polarity and mains voltage in the mains supply. The straightforward rotary dial allows for manual testing control, and the recall button allows results to be shown on the crisp digital screen. A polarity test pad on the Socket & See RCD PRO can identify reverse-wired sockets that a conventional socket tester might overlook. Its battery lasts for 50 hours and it falls under the Cat III 300V overvoltage rating. Batteries, a carry box, and a magnetic hanging strap are included.
