The Metrel MI2883 Energy Master Class S Power Quality Analyser is a portable datalogger that assesses numerous factors to ascertain the efficiency of an electrical power supply. By identifying unusual usage patterns, it can also assist in diagnosing certain issues, saving the user money on energy costs and averting production loss from broken equipment. Depending on the size of the loaded memory card, it can remain in place for up to a year or more. The analyzer can be used to test system capacity, do long-term analysis, schedule preventative maintenance, and inspect power correction equipment. The Metrel MI2883 measures voltage (3-channel) and current (4-channel) TRMS, including peak values and crest factor. It also measures many characteristics of power, including fundamental, harmonic, active, non-active, and load unbalance. IEEE 1459 power measurements are followed, and power factor cosφ is also computed. Measurements of temperature, harmonic and interharmonic analysis up to the 50th order, THD, imbalance, and flicker are examples of additional analytical functions. The Metrel MI2883's power quality analysis features all adhere to EN 50160 standards, and it even has the ability to record power supply events including surges, dips, shutdowns, and interruptions. The Metrel MI2883 allows the user to configure up to seven configurable alarms to alert them to specific issues and store specific occurrences in the internal memory. An 8GB micro-SD card is included with the analyzer, and it has the capacity to save thousands of results as well as recognize and automatically adjust the range for up to four connected smart clamps. Despite having sophisticated measuring and analysis features, the Metrel MI2883 is incredibly simple to use because to its large screen and clear menu. The basic Metrel PC SW PowerView3 software lets the user download test results to a computer, where they are then automatically formatted into official test reports. There are two set options available for the Metrel MI2883. Test probes, crocodile clips, an 8GB micro-SD card, PC SE PowerView3 software, a USB cable, and a carry bag are all included in the standard kit. In addition to the same accessories, the Eurotest comes with three one-phase, flexible current clamps with a maximum range of 3000A, made by Metrel A1227.
