The DiLOG DL9130EV Advanced 18th Edition Multifunction Tester is specifically designed to support those electricians who offer EV charge point installation services. Amongst its features, the DL9130EV sports some new functionalities that are critical in ensuring safe EVSE installation including full 6mA pure DC test for RDC-DD verification, EV testing sequence for verifying DC protection and type A RCD protection. In addition, the newly introduced Rmax and Zmax features will automatically capture maximum values for R1+R2 continuity tests and Zs tests respectively and display them upon test completion. The addition of a colour RGB display, able to graphically highlight potential pass/fail circumstances, is another new feature in DiLOG's 18th Edition MFT line. The screen is fully illuminated and displays values using big, distinct numbers. Even when using a gloved hand, selecting an option or setting is simple thanks to the big function buttons and tactile rotary dial. This MFT can recognise whether users are performing a 2 wire or 3 wire loop/PSCC measurement without the requirement for mode selection thanks to an auto sensing intelligent high current 2 and 3 wire loop test. The auto start continuity test option offers extra automation for even greater user friendliness. Using test voltages of 250, 500, and 1000V, insulation can be measured.
