The Extech 480403 Phase Rotation Tester is a helpful tool that can display a motor's phase rotation even when it isn't physically attached. When connected, it can also determine whether a phase is live, which makes it perfect for ensuring that improper wiring does not result in any damage.For checking phase orientation, the tester's AC testing range is 40V to 600V on voltages with frequencies ranging from 2 to 400Hz. The LED interface shows the state of each of the three phases and the rotation direction, either clockwise or counterclockwise. The Extech 480403 is a lightweight model with robust, double-moulded casing for protection. Together with a pouch case, 9V battery, and a set of wide-jaw crocodile clips, it is packaged with three test leads.
