Trend FiberTEK IV-MM LED Kit

The Trend FiberTEK IVMM LED Kit is a versatile tool for certifying multimode fiber optic cabling. Designed for use with the Trend LANTEK IV Cable Certifier, it simplifies the process by adhering to international standards like ANSI/TIA and ISO/IEC. The kit features field calibration for 1 and 3 jumpers, ensuring ongoing accuracy. It offers simplified bi-directional measurements and supports encircled flux testing (optional). The FiberTEK IV utilizes a red laser light source for visual fault identification and port location. A separate LED indicates the presence of another light source (red) or a connection to a FiberTEK IV (green). Streamlining the testing process, the FiberTEK IV eliminates the need for manual merging of directional tests. It supports common connector types with included SC, FC, and ST adaptors. The kit includes two multimode FiberTEK IV modules, a carry case, adaptors, SCSC patch cords, and a quick reference guide. Its applications span various scenarios, including modular plug terminated links, direct attach channel device links, permanent links, channels, 5e/6/6a patch cords, and end-to-end links.
