The C.Scope MXL4DBG Datalogging Bluetooth Multi Frequency Locator is a versatile cable and pipe locator, capable of detecting a wide range of signals. Its high sensitivity and accuracy make it reliable even in challenging environments. The locator can detect signals from 512Hz to 131kHz, allowing it to locate various types of cables and pipes, including thin, short, unearthed, and thicker, longer ones. It also features specialized modes for detecting blockages in subterranean metal pipes. The MXL4DBG operates in conjunction with the C.Scope MXT4 Transmitter, which projects signals for detection. Additionally, it functions as a standalone instrument in radio and power modes. Power mode detects signals emitted by live electric currents in underground cables, while radio mode detects radio-type signals from buried metal surfaces. The AllScan mode provides a wider frequency detection range for comprehensive inspections. The MXL4DBG offers accurate depth indication from 0.1m to 9.99m, utilizing peak hold technology to trace buried cables and pipes. Its AlarmZone™ feature alerts the user to shallow obstacles, and the swing indicator prevents improper use that could affect accuracy. The device's 2GB internal memory stores readings and activity, holding up to 12 months of data at typical usage levels. This data can be accessed on the backlit LCD screen. The MXL4DBG integrates GPS functionality to add location stamps to saved readings. Bluetooth® connectivity with local GPS Survey equipment enables "one-pass" underground utility surveys. Data transfer can be accomplished via Bluetooth® to a smart device using the C.Scope Relay App or via USB to a PC with C.Scope PC Toolkit software. Daily self tests ensure accuracy, eliminating the need for calibration. The MXL4DBG is designed for use in harsh weather conditions, featuring an IP65-rated weatherproof casing.
