C.Scope CXL4-DBG Bluetooth Datalogging Cable Avoidance Tool

The C.Scope CXL4DBG Cable Avoidance Tool is a sophisticated, datalogging cable locator equipped with Bluetooth® connectivity and a large internal memory. It excels at detecting hidden metal cables and pipes, making it ideal for pre excavation checks in utilities, construction, and rail industries. This standalone instrument operates in power or radio mode. Power mode detects signals from live electric current in underground cables, while radio mode picks up signals emitted by metallic pipes or cables. When paired with a signal generator, the CXL4DBG can detect a wide range of underground services. Notably, the SGV4 Signal Generator produces 33kHz and 131kHz frequencies, the latter being particularly useful for detecting thin, short, or unearthed cables. The AllScan mode covers a broad frequency range, enabling comprehensive inspections and verifying findings from other modes. The CXL4DBG's AlarmZone™ feature alerts users to shallow cables, with adjustable trigger depth. The swing indicator minimizes user error by warning against excessive locator movement. An Auto Self Test function eliminates calibration needs, while Peak Hold ensures accuracy by freezing the strongest signal detected. Inspection data is clearly displayed on the CXL4DBG's backlit LCD screen and saved to its internal memory, capable of storing approximately 12 months' worth of data. Data transfer can be done via Bluetooth® or USB, with analysis facilitated by the C.Scope PC Toolkit and the C.Scope Relay Android App. Integrated GPS provides physical location stamps, and Bluetooth® connection to local GPS Survey equipment enables one-pass underground utility surveys.
