The C.Scope CXL4 Cable Avoidance Tool is a sophisticated device designed to locate hidden cables and pipes. It employs four distinct operating modes, each enhancing location accuracy and minimizing human error. This makes it ideal for preventing costly and dangerous cable strikes during construction, utility, and maintenance projects. The CXL4's four modes offer improved performance: Power Mode: Detects live electric current in cables. Radio Mode: Locates cables and pipes by detecting radio signals emitted by utilities, even when used as a standalone device. Generator Mode: Works with C.Scope signal generators to detect signals in metal pipes or underground cables. This mode can also detect non-metallic pipes using other generators and offers 131kHz signal detection for locating short, thin, or unearthed cables. AllScan Mode: Detects signal frequencies from buried metal outside the range of other modes. This helps identify hard-to-find obstacles and verify the accuracy of metal pipe marking achieved by other modes.
