The DiLOG DL6518 Earth Leakage Current Clamp Meter can measure earth leakage current precisely, making it useful for identifying low earth leakage current that may be causing annoying RCD tripping. Standard 30mA RCDs require a leakage current of no more than 9mA, as per the 18th edition wiring standards, which stipulate that the cumulative leakage during normal operation shall not exceed 30% of an RCD operational current. The DiLOG DL6518 is a good tool for evaluating this installation-related factor. The DiLOG DL6518 is a good tool for leakage current measurement and has an accuracy of ±2.5% + 8 digits for its 0 to 200A AC current measuring range. The clamp meter is perfect for detecting low currents because it can generate readings with a resolution of 100µA up to 200mA. The DiLOG DL6518 has a 30mm movable jaw aperture for taking measurements, and its clear digital screen shows the results. The device may be operated with two basic buttons for display functioning and a clear dial for manual ranging. It also has max reading and display hold functions. With a two-year guarantee, the DiLOG DL6518 is covered by a Cat II 600V overvoltage category classification.
