The Megger MFT-X1 Multifunction Tester is the first model of a new family of MFTs that may be upgraded by the user. The Megger MFT-X1 has a host of features, including high resolution 0.001 loop testing, automatic volt-drop measurement, stabilised insulation test voltage, configurable RCD and EV auto-sequence tests, and much more. It is designed for use on all single or three-phase domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical installations. High Resolution Loop Impedance Testing:- With a precision of 0.001 ohms and a 50kA current calculation, the MFT-X1 has increased the low end of the loop impedance range. The True Loop Impedance Measurement, combined with two wire test connections and high current testing, utilises Meggers' unique Confidence MeterTM. Custom RCD Testing The RCD test configurator now makes it possible to optimise RCD testing. Testing can be customised to choose the exact tests or RCD components that the customer needs. The sequence can also include ramp testing, which optimises and streamlines testing. Testing EV Charge Points The MFT-X1 is appropriate for evaluating the installation of EV charge points with either RCD Type B or RDC protected charge points. The MFT-X1 can test and maintain all recognised EV chargers when used in conjunction with the Megger EVCA converter. Actual Measurement:- The MFT-X1 can test AC currents from 1mA to 1000A using current clamps for current measurement and the optional Megger MCC1010 Current Clamp. Users can upgrade The MFT-X1 uses a regular microSD card to enable remote firmware and feature upgrades without the need to buy a new unit, offering the best protection from changing regulations or testing needs. This helps you future-proof your purchase. Megger intends to regularly release new updates at no cost to the user while also providing improvements that allow the MFT-X1 to enter new markets in the future. Compatible with Megger CertSuiteTM Software The Megger CertSuiteTM software platform's first fully integrated tool, the MFT-X1 enables users to tag results and transfer them straight to any test certificate or report open on an iOS or Android smartphone running the CertSuiteTM App. Making expert certificates and reports on-site is simple with the variety of certification options and templates available. The CertsuiteTM software captures measurements directly from the tester in real time and is tailored for testing with the MFT-X1. Even simultaneous users testing at several locations on the same site is possible. If access rights are granted, results can be saved and accessed by remote users. You can relax knowing that your data is synchronised with your CertsuiteTM App and stored in the cloud. Megger CertsuiteTM software access and licences may be purchased on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Visual aids and instructions:- The instrument contains built-in graphical help screens that give users instructions to help them complete all of the measurements accessible on the MFT-X1 platform. The Megger MFT-X1 is designed to withstand a demanding day's work with its IP54 housing, CATIV 300V safety rating, and rugged, weather-proof carry case offering outstanding protection and flexible storage. It also includes a quick-removable battery pack and will offer a rechargeable battery option after launch, so you'll never be without power.
