DL9118 is a DiLOG part number. The 18th edition DiLOG DL9118 Multifunction Tester is a British-made multifunction tester and is capable of a wide number of tests, including those for phase rotation, insulation resistance, loop impedance, potential short circuit current, continuity, and socket polarity. These functions are supplemented by a variety of cutting-edge features, many of which are now accepted as standard on modern MFTs. First off, the instrument\'s auto-start function saves time without compromising accuracy while the special RCD-LOC XLT non-trip loop test does deliver a very accurate test result without the risk of tripping RCDs. Testing for high current loop and line impedance expands the options available for this crucial system test. For the PSCC test, which provides a direct readout to swiftly verify whether protective devices fulfil the necessary standards, auto-start is also an option. The DiLOG DL9118 also has a null function for continuity testing, which counteracts the effects of lead resistance in addition to auto-start. With advanced techniques including auto-testing and ramp current for enhanced speed and accuracy, the device can be used to evaluate both trip duration and trip current for RCDs. Insulation resistance measurements can be performed at test voltages of 250, 500, and 1000 volts, while voltage and frequency measurements provide the user with additional specific information about the functioning of the system. A thorough set of test functions is completed by socket polarity testing and phase rotation indication. This sophisticated, accurate MFT is included with everything needed to conduct tests, including test leads and crocodile clips, and complies with BS EN61557 and EN61010. It also comes in a convenient toolbox-style carry bag.
