An accurate, ergonomic, and complete four-in-one tester for earth, resistivity, coupling, and continuity is the C.A. 6470N TERCA 3 Earth and Resistivity Tester. The earth is measured using the CA 6470N - TERCA 3 using both 3-pole and 4-pole techniques. Low earth resistance measurements are made possible by the four pole measurements, which provide about ten times more precision. In order to satisfy the demands of energy distributors like EDF as well as power distribution and transmission firms, several metrics in particular are crucial. With an adjustable frequency of 41Hz to 512Hz, the 6470 TERCA 3 offers a wide measurement range of 0.001Ω to 100kΩ. By employing conventional stake-based techniques, the C.A. 6470 earth & resistivity tester ensures accurate readings. Prior to beginning each measurement, this ground earth tester will do a self-diagnosis in order to identify any issues that can result in measurement mistakes. Moreover, the C.A. 6470N Earth & Resistivity tester automatically offers advanced and proficient computation functions. When measuring soil resistivity, programming the distances used for the measurement allows for the automatic calculation of r using the Wenner or Schlumberger methods. For the earth coupling measurement, simply complete the three necessary measurements and let the tester calculate the coupling coefficient automatically. With its compact, sturdy, and leakproof construction, the CA 6470N tester is ideal for field use. It provides easy access to all measures using a rotary switch on the front panel. Color-coding the four terminals for connecting to the stakes makes the connections easier. Large backlit LCD screen and rechargeable battery with external charger for mains supply or car cigarette lighter connection are features of the C.A 6470N. It has an option to store the measurement results directly and in an organised manner. The data can be exported onto a PC using the Ground Tester Transfer software via a USB communication output for additional processing.
