Manufacturer: Megger
In Megger's 2016 line of multifunction testers, the MFT1711 is the entry-level variant. The Megger MFT1711, which officially replaces the Megger MFT1710, features an upgraded specification that complies with the testing standards outlined in BS7671. The MFT1711 is the ideal tool for Part P domestic installers who want to conduct minor works/electrical installation certificates or even seasoned electrical inspectors carrying out regular electrical installation condition reports because it can test all single phase domestic/commercial electrical installations. The MFT1711 may be used to safely test any component of a low voltage electrical system, all the way up to the supply transformer, and is capable of withstanding unintentional usage and voltage transients thanks to the instrument's IEC 61010 CATIV 300V rating. The Megger MFT 1711 electrical installation tester's ergonomic design allows it to be used while being handled, placed on the floor, mounted on a ladder shelf, or hung from the neck. Additionally, all of the Megger line of multifunction testers have dual "test" and "lock" buttons to accommodate users who are right- and left-handed. The Megger MFT1700 multifunction tester line is intended for repeated use in demanding settings. As a result, the instruments are covered in rubber for added safety and grip, and the IP54 ingress protection grade provides protection from dust and water. The Megger MFT1711 Multifunction Tester's two color-coded rotary dials make it simple to programme all of the test settings. Test measurements are presented on a patented digital/analogue arc, which reveals fluctuating readings, while the dual digital readout offers precise values of important metrics. The device has a clear, large backlit display. The following tests can be run using the Megger MFT1711 Multifunction Tester: Continuity:-With an adjustable buzzer threshold, the 200mA test is suited for testing R1+R2 and R2. Resistance to insulation:- Tests at 250, 500, and 1000 V Loop:- Patented anti-trip on both the 2 and 3 wire test options for 2 and 3 wires. The loop test result is displayed in tandem with PSCC/PFC. RCD:-Test programmable 10, 30, 100, 300, and 500mA AC, AS, and RCDs using a ramp, a manual (0.5x, 1x, or 5x), or automatically. Voltage TRMS:Measuring supply voltage and frequency precisely
