The Martindale CD1000 Cable Detector Kit is perfect for finding fuses and breakers on active or inactive circuits, as well as for tracing wires inside walls and beneath floors. Finding breaks and open circuits in cables and electrical floor heating systems is made easier for electrical experts with its assistance. It is applicable to the tracing of heating and water pipes made of metal. Through the use of cutting-edge digital circuit technology, the transmitter modifies an AC voltage and transfers it to the target cable, creating an alternating electric field. The receiver head picks up, magnifies, and decodes the alternating field. One can locate a fuse, trace the path of a cable, or identify a break in a cable or conductor by localizing the maximum signal intensity observed. One transmitter and one receiver in a case, a set of test leads with crocodile clips, an earthing rod, batteries, and instructions are included with the CD1000 package.
