An extensive range of electrical variables can be measured by the flexible true RMS multimeter, the Metrel MD9070 Insulation/Continuity Digital Multimeter. In addition to conducting earth bond, continuity, and diode tests at 50V, 100V, 250V, and 1kV, it can measure AC/DC voltage (1000V), resistance (60MΩ), and frequency. The multimeter can conduct PI/DAR tests in addition to being able to be used on motor drives thanks to its VFD functionality. This qualifies it for heavy-duty electrical testing, field servicing, and advanced industrial and electronic testing. Push buttons and an easily labeled rotary dial are used to operate the Metrel MD9070. The large digital screen displays the results of either manual or automatic rang. A reading on the screen may be frozen by data hold, and min/max recording is also an option. A useful "compare" function can be used in insulation resistance testing. A variety of practical accessories, such as test leads, test probes, and crocodile clips, are included with the multimeter, which has a Cat IV 600V rating. Additionally, there is a handy remote probe with an integrated button that can be used to initiate tests. There is a 12-month warranty on it.
