A downloadable insulation and continuity tester made for demanding applications is the Megger MIT330. Test results can be stored in internal memory of the MIT330. More than a thousand results can be downloaded via USB to a computer and saved locally. It is possible to add a job reference number, which makes it possible to test different locations using the same tester and to manage the downloaded file with ease. When the instrument is turned off or the batteries run out, the test results are all kept in non-volatile memory. A memory bar graph serves as a "Fuel Gauge," indicating the amount of RAM that has been utilized. Test results can be imported into Microsoft Excel and downloaded as CSV spreadsheets. Download Manager (Supplied) can be used to download all data via USB. The results can be downloaded straight into Megger Powersuite Professional (Optional), which offers a number of features for producing professionally finished documentation, in the event that certificates or reports are needed.
