Unique to the Fluke 1507 Insulation Resistance Tester is its wide measurement range, which extends from 0.01MΩ to 10GΩ. The user has a great deal of choice with five different test voltages: 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, and 1000V. A number of advanced features further enhance usability. The ability to measure earth bond resistance and AC/DC voltage up to 600V, in particular, significantly expands the primary applications of insulation testing. The Fluke 1507 automatically calculates the dielectric absorption ratio and polarisation index, saving time. Additionally, the 'compare' function streamlines repetitive tests by providing a pass/fail function. In addition, a remote probe facilitates easier access to difficult test sites and simplifies measurement repetition. The Fluke 1507 features a backlit digital screen that shows test results. LED lights indicate pass/fail and dangerous voltage. Easy dial operation and a large "test" button that is comfortable to press even with gloves are advantages for the user. Because of its automatic voltage detection feature, which stops tests when a voltage of 30 V or more is detected, the Fluke 1507 is an incredibly safe instrument. When using the instrument, the user can feel secure because the inputs are safety rated as Cat IV up to 600V. Crocodile clips, probe tips, and test leads are included with the product. All things considered, the Fluke 1507 is an advanced, secure insulation tester with remarkable measurement powers.
