The purpose of the Chauvin Arnoux CA6011 Continuity Tester is to test the protective earth conductors of appliances, electrical equipment, and new equipment installations. In compliance with the relevant laws, the CA6011 permits a user-defined programmable continuity threshold (1 Ω or 2 Ω) and measures continuity (up to 20 Ω) or resistance (up to 200 Ω). With its two-color backlighting and 2,000 count display, the CA6011 can measure up to 30,000 in real-world scenarios or 4,500 according to the IEC 61557-4 protocol before the batteries need to be changed. With just four buttons on the front panel, the CA6011 offers a straightforward user interface that allows you to access all of its functions right away. The operator's safety is ensured by visual and audible (red/blue screens) alarms in the event that voltage is detected, adhering to IEC 61557-4, 300V Cat IV, and IEC 61010 safety standards.
